Natures Compassion : a Service to ERADICATE 3rd world  poverty condition's
from the Pine Ridge reservation,
one family at a time.

Healing the karmic wounds of North America!
Generation's ago, our beloved Native Relative's enabled us to live.

We now have the Invitation to help them in the same way!
This is the Great Ever expanding Circle of Compassion............

We need a mere $15,000.00 dollars to finish off this initial project. We have helped to create a home for a family with Alternative energy power for  $25,000.00!Our goal in the next year is to be able to sponsor 10 families which brings us to $250,000.00...............Please read and see below our current efforts.Feel free to contact anyone below we have listed as our supporter's.

Come Join us June 14, 2010,
as Natures Compassion returns to Pine Ridge to finish the  Rice Hull Insulated Eco-dome's ,as well as install the first 3.7 Sky Stream Wind Turbine with a Lakota orphan family living below the poverty line,in the history of the Pine Ridge reservation!
The Lakota Elders told us generation's ago ,that the SOLUTION to the plight of the people would come with the WIND!The Turbine was Donated by founder of AEE Solar David Kats after having a heart to heart conversation with Natures Compassion founder Temba Spirit.

This is the new paridgm of wealth!Mother Nature is always in a state of Richness and Giving. She has given us all the access to Her Endlessly Abundant resources. As Her Children ,we are always supplied once we become aware.

We are the Abundance that we seek!
Compassion is the first resource that we believe we must first tap into.Mother Nature is the greatest teacher of Compassion as She has never ceased to provide air for the any of us.

Orphaned at 2 years old,Mya American Horse Now 5 has helped in building her own home made with the Good Earth under feet! She has also learned how to plant tree's,grow food and take care of a flower garden.Soon She will experience a Wind Turbine Installation and will grow up with the Awareness that the THE WIND has always been her friend. Mya is opening a door for many children to walk through.

Children, teenagers and adults united with people from all over the country to Build this Rice Hull Insulated Eco Dome home.

Supporting family's through the brutal freezing winters of South Dakota,as the propane is very expensive and without help family's will freeze to death. The Dome's have wood stove's installed in them and we are looking at Geo-thermal option's as other green-economy heating systems.

ERADICATING poverty ONE FAMILY AT A TIME.

Right smack in our own countries backyard lives the Lakota Native Americans, an indigenous group of people who are currently living in conditions of "third world poverty". The Pine Ridge Reservation is documented as being the poorest place in this country. Some statistics say that it is Crow Creek reservation.
Either way ,it is the same group of people and  if it was your family would you not help them? When we embrace the culture of compassion we realize that we are all related. People are freezing to death each year from hypothermia on the reservation, starving to death and Pine Ridge is documented as having the shortest life expectancy rate for any community anywhere in the western hemisphere next to Haiti.

When this crisis was first brought to our attention, we could not believe that we lived in a nation that would allow the Indigenous people of this land to live in conditions such as this. We spent very little time contemplating this -- our hearts were compelled to act! Thus
Natures Compassion was born,a service inspired by the selfless example of your heart beat.

We began asking questions, sending e-mails, doing research and making phone calls.

In September 2008, we organized a trip for seven Lakota people to drive across the country from South Dakota to Hesperia, California, where we all took a training course at Cal-Earth www.calearth.org (The California Institute of Earth Art and Architecture). We learned how to build Eco-domes (earth homes) using sand bags, barbed wire, the earth under our feet, our hearts and of course our hands. While being there, Cal-Earth gave us a full commitment to come share their building expertise with us on the reservation this spring, when we will launch our first sustainable living project on the land of the American Horse Family.

Without knowing it, but simply being guided by our heart's, the trip to Cal-Earth helped to nurture a vision to empower the American Horse family to become totally self-sustained,a vision we did not know was perfectly aligned with Ethel American Horse's dream for her family and the seventh generation prophecy. Sixty percent of the homes on the reservation need to be destroyed because of  black mold infestation, along with lack of heat in winter which is killing people. Learning how to build homes made of the earth is a way to not only eradicate these condition, but also to be in harmony with nature. Along with being very practical and inexpensive virtually anyone can do it. When earth domes are made, it is a community effort which is totally in tune with the indigenous way.

Below are pictures of our wonderful experience's  we had(summer 2009) as we bonded in the heart with the American Horse family and ALL united in Compassion to build the first Rice Hull Insluated Eco-dome's in the history of Pine Ridge and the world! This beloved experience was a gift to ALL of us..Mother Nature was and is the Cheif!  We are so grateful to be able to particpate in this new cycle of Love ,Selfless Service .Though we are working with a beautiful urgency,we are also moving as Nature moves.Pateintly yet Persistently. We want this first project to grow as a Tree of life.We want it to give life to all other projects. We humbly request your help.

The Hoopa AmeriCorps on Native Lands Program is service-oriented, catering to the needs of our local community. With a focus on the environment, our program serves the Hoopa Valley through projects that strengthen and beautify our home. We assist our local businesses and tribal entities as well as our revered elders. A commitment of 1700 hours is required to complete this program whereupon the member will become eligible to receive an education award worth $4775. A living stipend is provided throughout the ten and one-half months of service. This program is non-residential, therefore, housing must be secured before committing. Developing service-minded membership is a priority for our program. Trainings ranging from small-engine safety and repair, to swift-water rescue, to first-aid/CPR all build skill and further the experience gained by each member thus propelling them into meaningful employment or careers. Applications can be obtained either online at www.americorps.org or by stopping at our offices located on the old BIA campus, across from TEPA. Two letters of reference as well as a personal statement are required.

Our  resolve is to
give the indigenous people of this country the best that the permaculture and sustainable living world has to offer , just as they did for us upon our arrival to this country Seven generations ago. This is the great compassionate circle of life. We are working towards the goal of a complete  sustainability  which includes purchasing and installation of solar panels, wind turbine and an earth sheltered solar greenhouse. We have already planted 37 tree's with many more on the way!

Mia Means American Horse Age 4,
Watering the beautiful trees of life we all just planted.
Mia on her own went back and forth to the well for a long period of time talking to and watering the plant's.
She will never see her mother again in the physical form, but we see her mother's spirit(ethel)shining through her passion to be in harmony with nature.
7th generation prophecy unfolding right before our eyes!
What a great gift it is to LOVE and SERVE!
